Dr. Eric H. Hubli
Dr. Hubli is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
who sub-specializes in Craniomaxillofacial, Cleft and Pediatric Plastic
Surgery. He serves as the Medical Director of
Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery at Cook
Children’s Medical Center located in beautiful Fort Worth, Texas.
Given the scope of his training and experience, Dr. Hubli has been
an invited speaker on the topics of craniofacial and cleft care nationally
and internationally.
Dr. Hubli has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show discussing facial
reconstruction and was recently a guest lecturer at Harvard
University. His post-operative
results were also featured as a cover article for Parade Magazine.
He has written and published multiple articles and book chapters
and has produced award winning instructional videos on the topics of
Mandibular Distraction and Bilateral Cleft Lip Repair.
He has been a guest surgeon in many countries and received an
award of merit from the Brazilian section of the Pierre Fouchard
society. Most recently, he has
been invited to be a Visiting Professor at the Mayo Clinic and a Faculty
Member at the Mayo Reconstructive Surgery Course in Rochester.
Dr. Hubli is a member of the Smile Train Medical Advisory
Board, a veritable who’s who of cleft surgeons from around the
world. As a board member, he helps
set an international standard in cleft care as the Smile Train program
works to empower in-country surgeons to care for their own cleft
patients. Dr. Hubli personally helped to develop the quality assurance
system that serves as the backbone of the Smile Train safety
program. As part of the project Dr.
Hubli has personally reviewed over 60,000 cleft cases from every corner
of the world.
